Description
The APR intake system for the 2.0T EA888 EVO 4 engine is sold as an open system as standard. To obtain a closed system, the OEM-style (polyamide/plastic), carbon fibre twill or forged carbon cover can be configured as an option. Fitting the cover requires no special tools and is easy to install. Additional air flow paths allow additional air to be drawn in at high power levels despite the closed system and at the same time increase the sound of the turbocharger.
This part is only compatible with one of the following intakes:
- APR Intake System 2.0T EA888 MQB EVO 4 Garret-Turbo (Golf GTI etc.) CI100052
- APR Intake System 2.0T EA888 MQB EVO 4 Continental-Turbo (Golf R etc.) CI100053
