APR TCU Upgrade (DSG Software)

The DSG used in the new EVO models such as the Volkswagen Golf R (VIII), GTI (VIII), Audi 8V S3, Cupra Leon (KN) or the Skoda Octavia RS (NX), for example, is simply amazing. It shifts at lightning speed, is enormously powerful and requires no hardware modifications to handle more torque.

Torque thresholds and clutch pressure are increased to prevent the clutch from slipping and at the same time more torque can be processed. In the Golf R (VIII), for example, they were able to realize an increase in torque from the standard 420 Nm to 530 Nm. Without the DSG software, the limit here is 480 Nm. These and many other changes make the APR DSG software an important component for performance-enhanced vehicles. Their DSG software has been tested together with the APR engine software in the emissions laboratory and is listed in the TÜV approval of the performance upgrade.
