Care information

Stainless steel or titanium exhaust systems are very low maintenance. Mainly the exhaust tips need to be cleaned.

CHROME OR STAINLESS STEEL TIPS:
Use soap and water to clean the water. In this stage, you need to wash off dirt and brake dust.
Use automotive steel wool to clean heavy carbon buildup, one of the significant causes of exhaust dirt.
Use metal polish to restore lustre.
Use a pressure washer to give a pressure wash to the exhaust with proper pressure.
Use a wire brush to clean the interior part.
Remove the grime. There is always a lot of loose grime left in the exhaust after giving it an internal clean.
Apply metal polish.

POWDER COATED TIPS:

The APR Catback system personalises the look, sound and performance of your R.

Beautifully hand-finished T304 stainless steel welded together using a process called TIG welding adorns this system. Our "straight-through" brushed stainless steel silencers move the exhaust note to a deep growl without causing unwanted resonance. Other unwanted frequencies are easily filtered out and eliminated by our Helmholtz resonator. Strong. high-quality OEM-style exhaust clamps hold the system firmly in place and make installation a breeze.

A cast 3" to 2.5" rear splitter provides an ultra-smooth transition that continuously directs all exhaust gases out of the system in a highly efficient manner, while still looking good under the bumper. With our valve housings also cast, the vehicle can be installed and used with the factory electronic damper adjusters plug and play. Finally, polished, removable 4-inch tailpipes complete the system and add a classic motorsport touch to the rear of the vehicle.
