Care information

1. Remove the air filter from the car.
2. Spray the filter with a cleaner designed for oiled filters and let it soak for 10-15 minutes.
3. Rinse the filter from the clean side to the dirty side with low pressure water until the water is clear.
4. Let the filter air dry completely.
5. Re-oil the filter evenly and let it sit for 20 minutes.
6. Place the filter back in the car.

The APR intake system for the 2.0T EA888 EVO 4 engine is a completely newly developed air intake from the intake manifold directly to the turbo. With a length of 109mm, it can be swapped directly with the standard intake. The system can be customised to suit individual tastes.

ALL IN ONE

The system impresses with a low pressure drop, increases the air flow rate and produces a breathtaking intake noise.
Thanks to interchangeable turbo inlet adapters, the intake can also be installed with larger turbochargers. The body can be used as an open or closed intake. With the extra selectable covers in OEM look, carbon or forged carbon, a completely customised look can be created in the engine compartment.

The intake system

The APR intake system has two front inlets that lead into a large airbox. This provides complete frontal coverage of all inlets, which enables perfect airflow to the airbox and creates a great sound experience in open installation.
Optionally, you can choose between three different covers to achieve a closed design. Best of all, no tools are required to install the covers. Inside the airbox is a customised cotton filter designed for high throughput.
The filter is attached to the airbox and flows directly into our massive turbo inlet. The turbo inlet is overlooked in most developments, but requires special attention as this is where the greatest restrictions on the intake can occur. As a result, the cross-sectional area of the system has been increased by 99% compared to the standard intake. The connection between the turbo inlet and the airbox is made using a hose clamp that can be attached without silicone couplings or adapters. The installation is therefore easy to realise and gives the system a clean and professional look.
