Care information

Iridium spark plugs typically have a life span of around 100.000 km.
We still advise to change the plugs every 60.000km, especially if your car has received a few performance upgrades.
Check the spark plugs with every oil change.

If they show one (or more) of the following damages, it's time to change them:

- Corroded spark plug housing
- Oil in the spark plug well
- Carbonised electrodes
- Build-up on the spark plug
- Broken insulator base
- Discolouration on the insulator

Workshops systematically check the spark plugs during maintenance

Description

The APR Pro spark plugs are made of iridium and have been specially developed for tuned vehicles. Iridium is considered one of the strongest materials that can be used for the manufacture of spark plugs.

HIGH END MATERIAL

In addition, the electrode is harder and stronger than other materials and can dissipate heat better.

The material also has very useful properties such as a cooler operating temperature, prevention of premature ignition, a longer service life with a higher melting point and a strong spark with less voltage.

 

PERFECT PERFORMANCE

The APR Pro spark plugs are ideal for vehicles with high boost pressure, cylinder pressure, cylinder temperatures and power.
The spark plugs can also be combined with our ignition coils. The electrode is harder and stronger than other materials and can dissipate heat better. This results in greater protection against cracking and fusing compared to standard plugs.
